     My work draws from my experiences on big projects in New York City, but in my heart of hearts I remain a California girl :  entrepreneur, with an outlook to the future, towards energy efficiency, matched with a desire to create architecture for people who want to build their dreams and are not afraid to try.                                      

     My house/office is a modest project, a glass house in which all the walls move, set in a cherry orchard that has a grade of energy efficiency. This is just one idea in a world of so many ideas I would like to try  -  big, small, but innovative.                                                                          

    Mon travail repose sur mes experiences aux grands projects à New York City, mais au fond de mon coeur je reste une fille Californienne la tête aux pieds: autoentrepreneur, interesséé par les idées nouvelles, l'efficacité energétique, créant pour des gens qui veulent construire leurs rêves et qui n'ont pas peur de les tenter.                              

   Mon bureau / maison est un projet modeste, une maison dont tous les murs glissent, posée dans un verger de cerisiers qui a un grade d'efficacité energétique en France.  C'est juste une idée dans un monde d'idées que je voudrais essayer : grandes, petites, mais innovantes.

I wanted to create something organic using an algorithm.  This particular algorithm is the genius of Prof. Paul Bourke, 

an Australian responsible for a supercomputer network for his country who has done, among other things a digital map of the dark matter of the universe.  

I love the way it "grows" and so as to use something that is reminiscent of trees, or lightning, in a place where nature as we know it on earth is scarcely present.  These 3D models suggest printing with the existing regolith or creating aerogel or even graphene aerogel, the lightest solid on earth, to shelter future space explorers.

THIS PROJECT IS AN ANALOG FOR ME TO DESIGN A HABITAT FOR MARS OR OTHER CELESTIAL BODIES.

The first of my 3D printed models was made by Kevin Hsu at 3D Systems Research and Development Lab in Berkeley, California headed by Patrick Dunne to whom I owe a debt of gratitude.  I was also assisted by Colin Blain in England.
