Exhibition in the Renzo Piano Pavilion at Chateau La Coste from January 13-30, 2024 with an inflatable Mars habitat prototype and 3D models under my direction in collaboration with Dr. John Carter of the Laboratoire d'Astrophysique de Marseille and the Institut d'Astrophysique Spatiale - CNRS - Université Paris-Saclay; design input from our 22 students at Centrale Méditerranée and Thomas Herzig, Austrian architect specializing in inflatable architecture.  The students developed the basic design idea for the model and tests to be run as a prototype using parameters of temperature, humidity, energy output, UV protection, magnetic field, and CO2 in situ. We entitled the model "SCH. . .luck, a synthesis of the name that the students gave to their model, “Spatial Communal Habitat,” transformed into the acronym SCH, + luck. The word "Schluck", pronounced "chlouk", comes from Alsace and Lorraine and meaning a small sip as in "Do you want a schluck?”  We invite you to sample our adventure.
